hi guys,
i bought a jag-stang a while back which came without any strap hooks so i bought some from fender but the screws were too small for the holes on the guitar.
i took the guitar and the new strap hooks to my local music shop and they fitted them for me.
i was playing the guitar and one of the strap hooks literally popped out and what i saw had been done at the music shop to make them fit was to shove a match stick in the hole with a bit of glue and just drill the smaller screw through it!
i went down to the store and they said that was how it was done but i'm not satisfied.
would wood filler be ok to use to fill in the hole or does anyone know of any other means of how i can sort the problem out?
many thanks and i hope to hear from you,
mark
