First off, I'd like to get constructive feedback on the wiring diagram included. I'm a newbie when it comes to guitar wiring so I'd like to know if I got it right based on what I'm trying to accomplish. So with that being said, I'm looking to modify my jaguar to have more volume/tone control over each pickup separately and also include a Series/Parallel switch for when both pickups are engaged. Ultimately, my plan with involve scrapping the Rhythm circuit and Lead circuit division and creating just one circuit allowing me to have a volume and tone control for each pickup individually. I'd also like to reduce the overall treble ceiling by cutting the pots to 500K from 1 Meg.
1. Replace the Lead volume & tone pots for the lead circuit with 2 500K audio pots to control the volume of each pickup individually
2. Remove the Rhythm circuit volume & tone pots and replace them with 2 500K linear pots to control the tone of each pickup individually
3. Use the Rhythm/Lead switch for my Series/Parallel switch
4. Control which pickups are engaged by either using a 3 way toggle switch OR use traditional jaguar slider switch... I haven't decided yet.
I actually drew up a wiring diagram but I don't know how to share/attach it... if I could get some help with that first, that would be great!
