CIJ prices to be risen by 20% starting September

Got the news via Ishibashi and guitarjapan.com. It's also on the Fender Japan website.

Apparently, the info was published around july 3rd, so once again sorry if this is old news.

Jee, I just ordered a CIJ Jaguar today. Phew. 😲

Maybe they've actually started paying their workers, or after 60 years of Fender they're running out of guitar trees. 😁

yeah..I noticed in ishibashi website...oh no...I was just planning to get a jazzmaster from them...I wasn't realizied that it would be on sept..got to save up more... 😠

cause everyone was buying Japan they uped the prices so there is some competition.

Apparently on all guitars.

And yes, most likely because CIJ sales have increased a lot this year.

perhaps a simple inflationary increase. or perhaps fender japan think their guitars are worth more than they are currently selling them for. or perhaps because more people are buying direct from japan, which fender of america and euro based fender won't like. And so this price increase will discourage that, while the prices for officially imported japanese fenders in the USA and europe may stay the same
