foxmulder I have a 69 mustang and it's sounds great, but I need an humbucher sound in the bridge. I know that it's like a murder change an original mustang pick up but....I need some "motivations"I have think about a Jb jr....
lamp an original '69 or a reissue?I stuck a jb jr in my reissue...and it sounds great. But honestly keep the guitar stock if it's original.
BanditGuitarist1 if its original buy a RI! please dont mod a Vintage one! I did but thats cuase my 67' was trashed inside and the paint stripped so it was ####ed so it didnt matter 😆
BanditGuitarist1 oh then get a JB Jr but save the original pup! So if u sell it you can resolder it in and sell it as stock original.
Malik There's no harm in modding pickups really, it's just solder and I don't think potential buyers are going to check for "stock solder" on the pickup wires. You might even keep the pickups in better condition if you put them into storage for some new, younger ones. 😛
