Probably not the best or most desirable pedal, but one I find worth its weight in gold is the Boss PS-3 Pitch Shifter/Delay.
Most of the pitch shifting settings are far too gimmicky to be of any use, but if you tune it so it doesn't shift you can get a nice chorus sound out of it.
I've also found a tweak which emulates a reverb effect, and obviously it's a digital delay too.
I much prefer individual stomp boxes to multi-FX, because you've got to be able to change the order of the chain to suit your own requirements and multi-FX boxes never let you do that, so the versatility this pedal offers is great.
3 pedals in one is pretty good going in my book, and I'd recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a DD-series delay.
With the current cabin baggage restrictions, I'll be able to get by with just this and my Tube Screamer for my gig in Germany next week, and I know I'll be able to get the sounds I want regardless of what amp the venue provides me with.
