jag HH alternative pickguards!

Hi there forgive me if this has been asked before, but i have a jaguar HH special and wanted a different colour pickguard, but am having trouble finding one that fits...Ive searched ebay and other places and cant find one, and i dont want to repaint mine.

Can someone point me in some direction? I preferably want a red or white one

buy some blank guard material and make your own.

I have a white one (actually mint...) from a Japanese Jag Special (the same guitar as the HH, but different colors). I modified my guitar, and cut a new guard, so the old guard is just hanging around. I thought about putting it up on ebay. Post a reply if you wanna work something out.

Plain white? I might be interested. It beats the heck out of cutting up an old heldrix record for a pickguard.

...Yeah... here is a Photoshop "before and after" image. the image on the left shows what the extra guard looks like. I think it will fit a black HH perfectly, but I have never seen one in person. Are there any rules against working out a sale on these boards?

That's why you pay extra for a Jaguar! It's for those extra controls!

You would have been much better off buying two Jag-masters for that price!

Nope... thats why you pay extra for a Jaguar. I bought it in japan a few years ago and it was actually pretty cheap... much cheaper than the current model sold in the US... and for me its more of a replacement for a Gibson I own.

yeh that pickguard looks like it would fit...is it still available?? I'm in the UK thats the only problem. If not would it be fairly easy for me to just find a jag special pickguard somewhere?? ill go and have a look now
