Seymourdimazio i saw in an earlier topic that the mustang body is a different shape to a duo sonic. i own both a mustang and a duo-sonic reissues from about '95 and apart fromt the contoured body of the mustang im sure they are the same shape. The other differences are mechanical, and the neck is obviously shorter. So why are others saying that they are a different shape??
LIFE They are different. Completely. Put the bodies on top of each other, and they will not be the same. Unless it's a Duo-sonic II, and since you said it's a reissue, it's not.
Seymourdimazio i have done that before, the bodies are exactly the same! exeptt the things i mentioned. i thaught that the mustang was made origionally after the duo-sonic as a kind of updated version, so the bodies were the same shape and size???
LIFE No they're not. You must be blind or lying. Duo-sonic are much more Strat shaped. The butt on a Mustang is curvy, and almost circular, and on a Duo-sonic it's straight.
Seymourdimazio nah i wouldn't lie, and i also have a strat, which i have compared it to also so......... i will try and send in a pic to show you what i mean.
CROSS Duo sonic II are the same shape as Mustangs. But all other Duo sonic guitars are different shaped.
