i was was looking at guitarpartsresource.com for capacitors and it said that the .01 is standard for jag but it also said the .003 was too, these are not the rythum circut caps either, they are the lead, the pot capacitor is .003 and so is the thin switch. so this got me thinking about the value on the thin switch cap,so what would the differance be if i put a .01 in the thin switch?
would this make it less thin or more thin?id think more with a .01
i only come across this cause im rewiring my cij jag with AV parts and stock pups cause i cant get enough of the jaguar sound,im even ripping out my DP218 to go totaly stock again, exept for the red tort pg i got,its currently brown tort.and id like to know if i can thin it out a little more cause im wiring the thin to the bridge pup,so i want to compensate for the pup output diff.
