deathtolowEbuzz for the love of god and all things loud and obnoxious, BIG MUFF!!! Boss pedals sound thin and generaly crappy unless your using them over top a decent amp distortion (thats what I've found anyways). Our lead guitarist has a big muff and loves it, great for what ails ya.
jellybelly I think everyone should have a muff, nothing sounds quite like it. I try and have 3 drive pedals in my rig at once, and the big muff is ALWAYS included along with a fuzz and an overdrive/dist. It sounds like both and yet neither...
vivadeluxxe I'd go for a Big Muff, they have a pretty wide range of sounds...Beware tho, EHX stuff is feeble and put together really badly, so make sure you cover you feet in bubble wrap before you stand on it...
mumblyjoe To the DS-1 and 2, i say:#### THAT ####!!!Get a Little Big Muff instead, slightly nice sound than the NYC Muff, cheaper and in a smaller case.
