I just put the 60's slingerland 3 piece jazz kit on layaway at my local music shop. They have had this kit about 2-3 months now. Its missing a bass drum ring and the floor tom bottom ring and legs. It was originally black but someone painted the toms blue and the bass drum black with what appears to be house paint. It has its badges as well. They were only asking 75 dollars for it, they dropped it from 100. Sadly i didnt have it so i put it on layaway. I had this feeling that someone would snatch it up, though its been in the corner for 3 months now.
I'm gonna try and restore it. I'm guessing finding a snare of that era will be some madd jack$$$.
