I'm thinking about doing a Strat project..maybe in the next two or three months time. Here's the idea. I'm gonna get a RM550 (it's around USD150) squier Strat california series with maple neck a small headstock. and then I'll paint the body surf green or daphne blue. 😎
get a mint/white single ply pickguard and a fender stratocaster spagetthi logo to change the squier decals. and throw in some cheap pickups along the way. I know it would sound or feel like the real Fender. but it's just I can't afford a Fender Strat right now.
What do you guys think??
