A preamp is where the EQ and gain are made in an amplifier.
A poweramp is where the volume is produced.
A head is made up of a preamp and a poweramp.
A speaker cabinet is a box with a speaker in it.
A combo is made up of a preamp, poweramp AND a speaker cabinet (hence the "combo" name.. combination..)
A "half stack" is generally an amphead plus one cabinet, a full stack being with 2 cabinets.
That Jazzmaster head will need a cabinet.
