Can't find hex screw for mustang trem...

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a used reissue competition mustang. It was sold without the trem arm. I ordered the correct trem arm and recieved it today. However, the trem part of the mustang is missing the little screw that holds the trem arm in place. Does anyone know where I can buy that screw. Thanx for the help!

short of buying a new trem, i'm not sure if you can buy those anywhere. try getting an engineering firm to run you some off

What a bugger! I wonder if the grub screw from a standard strat bridge saddle would fit? If you have one it would be worth a try, i have some ####ty stock saddles from a strat i put graphtecs on, id happily send you one to try.

Well good news I called fender and the part does exist. But man its a pain to find but I did find a parts dealer. They were reccommended by Fender.

Music Parts Guru... they have a website but its not complete yet(http://www.musicpartsguru.com), their phone number is also on the site. So if anyone needs one of these screws send me an email or pm because these screw are sold in packs of twelve and I only need one. I'll be selling the extras cheap. Thanx for your help guys.

I want to buy one of your tremolo arm tension screws. I have two Mustangs a '65 & '66. The screw on the '65 is rusted and corroded, and I want to replace it.
