All this talk of peoples reactions reminds me of when I moved to the northwest and entered a Guitar Center for the first or second time last year, I came over to try out some Marshalls.........
Anyway, I walked into the store with this thing, and got stopped by customers about 3-4 times on my way to the marshalls asking about the guitar and so on, most of em' Nirvana fans and such. I thought that was it, nope.......nope, I had people walking by making all kinds of nice comments as I was playing.
Until I got the Jaguar, out of all the guitars I own (about 12-13ish), this was the one I played the most often (now it's almost 50/50). The neck was the major selling point, it's probably the only neck I've seen that can be blazingly fast even with high action, the other was the body since it was comfortable. And finally, the short scale combined with EMG's makes this thing blow most of those "metal" guitars out of the water with sound. I once built a B.C. Rich Warlock style guitar for one of my former guitarists, and even after all that planning to get a ton of output out of it, the Jag-Stang ate that Warlock for breakfast!
