Righty-ho, it's an SD Li'l '59, with a recently added coil split. It stays at home with the cats most of the time, and has certainly become my wife's "parlour guitar". On normal, the '59 is uber-punchy and retains just a slight amount of mullet 'n' mustache thanks to the brass bridge and ferrous plate, it seems. The cool thing is that it's wound so hot, that when split it can actually keep up with the P90 in the neck, and has more twang than either of us really need.

I wholeheartedly invite you to make your way out to Seoul and try to find us. It's most certainly an MIM Tele worth stealing, although foregoing a roundtrip ticket and hotel/food would allow you to buy a decent USA Tele w/ all the fixin's. Go bonkers~ 😛

Still, keep your eyes peeled if you're out here for something like this, certainly my favorite past stage(incarnation?) of the thing, w/black guard and SD Phat Cat:

Yousa making me clench them, harder, if not be grateful for what I've got, that is. 😀 which reminds me, a close Japanese friend of mine might be heading out to good ol' Nippon this February, so I'm going to (well...try to, wife willing) slip her some bills to score a real anodized scratcheroo for the Jazzer(made by Fender Japan for MIJs, available @ http://www.apollonmusic.com ). Y10,000 is a lot of clams, but I know I'll be quite pleased with it all when it's all over. Which reminds me, if you're seriously interested in the older(above) B/W/B Tele guard with the bucker hole and wanna rape an MIM tele in the near future(circa 2000 MIM etc. have a humbucker route in the neck), I'd be happy to send it out to you or anyone who makes an peaceable offer this January for the cost of postage, as I'll be in Southern California for 5 days during Chinese New Year(around Jan 26-30) and could easily make a cheap drop in the mail.

It's a Fodera 2000 Preamp.

I found a used one here a while back, useful for slightly meating up the very tame but tasty Fender Jazz Bass just enough so that the mixing engineer doesn't start suggesting active circuits and that kind of stuff to my face, so it's just a really good EQ box, so to speak, although I like to think of i as a "full frequency juice boost", really pouring on massive low tones with everthing else still in place. I don't use the mid cut it features, but then again I don't slap wank around or try to act like know who Victor Wooten is enough probably to enjoy having the two colors available when it's solo time. Runs on 18v(has two (9v slots inside), and thus has the power to destroy amps or create an unreal noise through the poor pedal that happens to follow(typical balance with passive volume happens around 8:30 on the master dial). With the Wooly Mammoth on tap even when set mild I don't really need a bass boost into an overdrive pedal per se, but getting the right frequencies(usually low tone retention, of course) to fart up right out of an overdrive pedal makes it useful in tandem with one, although I'm looking for a nice chunky bass overdrive to do the job when I've got just one cabinet to run through, which is most of the time.

As far as amps go, I have a Hot Rod Deluxe with a Vintage 30 in it, a crappy 25W Crate, and an almost-just-as-crappy Marshall mini stack.

Effects, not much there either, but it's enough for me. Danelectro Wasabi Chorus-Trem, Crybaby Fuzz Wah, Boss OD-2, Boss DD-3. Next purchase will probably be a Dunlop Rotovibe.
