My brother used to fix peoples guitars, so he had lots of old bits lying around our bedroom (my two brothers and my sister all lived in the same bedroom in our two bedroom house), so I basically cobbled my first guitar together from them. It was a cheap red and black body design, like cracked leather or something, and the neck ws a Fender rip, but the entire thing was painted black, headstock and all. The body was set up with a floyd rose trem that had had all the locking bits taken off and a two singlecoil with humbucker setup, with robroe black covers although the middle singlecoil never worked. My brother wired in a single volume and with the ridiulously high action and totally unstable tuning, I was ready to learn to rock and roll.
