Hi folks, I'm new on this forum. I've got a guitar that I know has an American Professional Jaguar neck (identified via serial number). However the body is some other flavor of Jag because it doesn't have the micro-tilt like a pro Jag would.
At first was sure it must be a Johnny Marr body because the neck pocket markings exactly match those on some other Marr Jags I've seen (I know electronics aren't the same, but I assumed someone modded it). But re-thinking the Marr idea because the body routing doesn't seem right. (The Marr Jags are all enclosed routs, where this one has channels between the cutouts.)
Any help from a Jaguar guru would be appreciated. Pics below.
