So the Jap Jaguar HH has a 24" scale neck that is a little thinner then the American made ones, right?

only conversion necks will work. the 22.5 mustang necks are conversion. we weren't talking about the radius of the fretboard, we were talking about the scale length

I like the sound fairly enough, but that's not gonna stop me from switching the pickups when my next cheque comes in. That reminds me, would a Dimarzio humbucker sound alright with a Seymour Duncan humbucker?

More specifically, a Dimarzio SuperII in the neck with an SD SH-5 in the bridge.

Well, I thought about it and I can't get another small scale neck guitar right now. I'm going to get a Squier Jagmaster. It's not that great of a guitar but it is shaped like a Jaguar/Jazzmaster and it is long scaled and has two hums. But the hums might be replaced, I'll have to see when I get it.

So is the Japan Jaguar HH 24" with a thinner neck, or what?

the jaguar special is 24". i don't know what you mean by "thinner". are you talking about the back profile (girth), or the nut width? in either case, it felt like a C shape profile to me (same as any other jag). with B nut width (again, same as any jag). basically, it's the same as any other jag neck, apart from the fretboard radius, which is 9.5"

Oh, on Musiciansfriend they make a 24" and a 25.5".

What sucks though, is that only the 24" comes in sunburst and the 25.5" won't be available untill 1/16/06. But thats not too long, I'll probably have the money by then.

I wish they made a Jaguar with a 25.5" scale neck. Too bad for me, huh.

Buy a jazzmaster. 25.5" scale and same price as a jaguar.

Because that's what I want the most.

It would work for me because of the long scale neck.
