i agree with you mostly... the lack of worn-looks doesn't bother me much, it's just that black technically isn't even a colour. it's nothing. yet it bothers me so much more than white, (which isn't really a colour either, it just compliments the guitar like one). it seems like a waste of wood, and an attempt to detract from the guitar's looks. from across the room someone playing a black guitar could be playing any make/model for all i care. i can't fully explain why i don't like them.
