Jaguar's weight

I'm saving money for jaguar and i havent had the chance to test one yet, so i'm wondering how much does it weight?

I bought this one just while ago, half the price of jag and that was main reason for it, with the fact that people have given good reviews for it. And i like the sound, feeling, size and looks, but there one major problem, it weights a ton!

So could you people please take you jaguars to the scale and let us know how much they weight! Thank you!

I won't bother with the scale (I don't have one), but I can give a good compairson.........

What's funny is My Jaguar weighs very close to the same as my Jag-Stang, but my Jag-Stang is made out of lighter body wood, and there's less of it, go figure.

Comparitive weight, it's not as heavy as a Les Paul, but heavier than a Strat.

my american reissue jaguar weighs about 8.5 lbs

The weight of a guitar's never been anything that's bothered me. Although I noticed hte LP copies I've played have been a bit heavy, it was nothing that would bother me.

I put that JTK2 on scale, it's 3,9 kg thats about 8.6 lbs, so no difference there...
