could someone tell me where i might be able to buy a red-tortoise shell pick guard for a CIJ jaguar? thanks a lot! i really like this one

i ordered a MIJ pickguard for my CIJ jaguar and it didn't fit! ☹ does anyone know where i can find CRAFTED in japn pickguards

or else is there an easy way to modify the one i have (the holes are in the right place but the shape is a little different)

i thought that CIJ and MIJ were pretty much the same

i guess i had to learn the hard way

any suggestions as to what i should do would be appreciated

You should eat fruit and get plenty of exercise. Always try to avoid stressful situations, and never place yourself in a position in which you can suffer harm.

As for the pickguard, I haven't got a clue.

post pics of the guards (one on top of each other) so we can see the shape difference.

yeah, i actually got my pickguard from guitar parts resource but it doesn't fit

as for the pics, i'll post some as soon as I get home

the changes are really subtle (such as the shape of the pickup holes and the size of the part between the neck+control panel) but they are enough to throw the whole thing off

there is no difference between japanese jaguars labelled "CIJ" or "MIJ". guitarparts resource probably sent you a pickguard to fit an american jaguar

ah, i see they have labelled it CIJ. like i say, i didn't think there'd be a difference between them.

you need to send a tracing of your old pickguard to WD music. and they will make one that is exactly the same shape as that
