Modded Jag-Stangs

I thought I'd start a thread for people to post images of Jag-Stangs they've found that totally go beyond the normal mods. I'm not talking "LOL JB IN TEH BRIDGE" or "COIL TAPSZ!!2", but total changes to it, both cosmetically and electronically.

Here's one I found on Warmoth's gallery, a custom made Jag-Stang:

Sunburst finish, reverse staggered pickups, reverse neck, red tort plate, numerous wiring changes.

You guys found any more? There's always that Thurstonised Jag-Stang and that white one that that Sub Pop guy uses.

i seriously like the sunburst with the redish brown tort...i would like to do that to mine...how much do u think that would cost?

Pickguards are like $30 or something, the finish requires someone who knows what they're doing. Sunburst is a pain in the ass, but it wouldn't cost you that much.

that is sexy, except i HATE the mustang pickup covers.

with uncovered white pickups it would look the bomb!

They're not mustang covers, they're robroe covers.

More Cowbell (from shortscale, used to post here) has a warmoth one too.

That is pretty tight...double humbuccker...brown headstock(thats awesome) although i dont like the silver too much.

What about that ash (cherry) like color....anyone seen it?

That is clearly sonic blue and he cant string his guitar properly.

looks like a sonic blue that had a #### refin, its certainly been sprayed.

that's absoloutely the best jag-stang ive ever seen!

only differences id make would be to have a matching silver painted headstock, and change the god awful mustang pickup switch system - it's so hard to change from neck pickup to bridge od the middle of a song!!

Id change the lower horn section of the pickguard to fit properly too. It works ok with the control plate, but the pickguard just looks off.

I concidered doing that very thing, but once I got to looking at it, I realized that the horn and the control plate were equally off, and to mod the pg to match the body contour, you would end up with something that would look less symetrical.
