i stopped Eletric guitar and started Classic guitar

till i get pro skills i will stay on classic

and its working !

i started read partitures , my agility coming better , my sound getting clean .... i getting patience , ... i feel my ears different .... damn so many cool things ...

My Classic Guitar , searching per studant model brasilian maded i just found crapp ... none one deservs =/ so i got spanish one ... :

i got Raimundo Y Aparicio , Mod. Raimundo Profesor 128 , very beautiful , awsome sound , awsome look , extremly confortable , its hand maded on spanish

but there's nothing i hate more than classical guitars. funny strings, flat fretboards, sky high action, looks funny. nightmare

Maybe he used to do it the conventional way by reaching up with his hand but now he's gained agility he does it with his feet.

Glad you like it Icey, my housemate swears by his classical guitar, hates steel-strung acoustics.

I must admit, I do like the easier feel of playing a classical guitar, at least compared to a steel string. I hate acoustics, they're just not as smooth to play as a nice electric.

Yeah, but playing steel string acoustics is a really good way to strengthen your fingers!

I generally never play acoustics simply because it's too loud, I like to practice nice and quitely without disturbing anyone else.

with those classical guitars, the plain nylon strings slip out from underneath your fingertips, they're so slack and awkwardly rounded

i kinda like the sound of a nylon strung guitar, BUT the fretboards are always stupidly wide and flat.

plus im not a fan of classical guitar music. but still cool dude!

But there's classical guitarists who would hate the guitars you like. Classical guitars are designed to perform best for what they do. Same as a Jag was designed to be the best surf guitar etc. I'm not a big lover of them but like I said, my housemate swears by his, (he tends to play a lot of Jazz and Soul primarily but he's also into anything spanish), he also has a Fender Strat which he uses for a lot of rocky stuff and a... um, I'm not sure what it's called actually, but a "Vintage" (the brand, not really old) copy of the guitar John Fruchante had in the Californication video.

its open your fingers and give moviment witch is exelent for studdant like me

you can't play power chords or anything above 12 with ease

Just curious, why would you want to play power chords on a classical guitar? On the other hand I saw John Lee Hooker an old blues guy and his slide guitarist was using a classical guitar and a glass slide.

Nylon strings hate being bent, and I can't help bending these days. I tried playing a classical yesterday at a friend's house, it wasn't very fun for me.

first of all , i getting partiture ... its more complete than tablature

its the musician language .... tablature is a #### behind partiture

seccound , intead talk #### why you dont show your powerful skills and do a cool demonstration you can read partiture , play them and write musics using partiture .... intead use power chords , screaming i like powerchords and bars ... show us how many scales and notes you can compose a song

... show ur Sweep skills , show us if you can do Decent arpegios , show us if you can do tremolo

also the most complete musician is the musician can play all , all perfect in any style ...

dont need be a malmstain showing speed

need be a solid rock studdant , good speed and good technic
