no need to make a tracing. if some one could just measure the length on either side and the width of the thickest point so i could check if it will actually fit then i could buy my own to make a pickguard tracing i would be very very gratefull
new idea:
i know nothing about coil splitting besides the principal idea. the switch on the upper horn is a jag control plate ala tEh KurdTz.
would it be possible to wire each pickup to that control plate like this: the little switch selects the pickup, the three way toggle splits the pickup either closest to the bridge-bypass the middle position-closest to the neck?
if the pickup selector on the bottom was in the bridge position, would it be possible to wire the pickups to somehow select the bridge pickup on the top control and split it while still playing through the bridge? then when you switch to the bridge pickup it would already be split?
so in esscence can you split one pickup while playing through the other?
