Epiphone Les Paul Junior '57 reissue

wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these. i've been playing my old hohner les paul copy lately. i forgot how much i like les pauls. jags and les pauls are great for me, as they both have similar scale and similar action above the pickgaurd. but nothing beats a good humbucker sometimes. this new les paul junior has a humbucker than looks like a p-90.

so much good stuff from epiphone lately. don't think they're out in the UK. have they been out in the USA for a while? anybody tried one?

havent played too many of them, all I know is that epiphone semi-hollow body's are absolutly wonderful for their price.

on a side note, gretch has got some affordable semi-hollows out now, made in japan or something. Haven't played one yet, but they look fantastic.

gretsch doesnt make semi hollow bodys, and all gretschs are made in japan, the electromatics are made in korea

eastwood maybe, maybe the spectra sonics are, as ive never seen one, but im not aware of any modern semis

Guys, the Epiphone Les Paul Junior isn't a semi-hollowbody.

A slab of mahogany with one P100 on it. One volume, one tone. That simple.

By the way Rick, GAK have it listed as arriving in the UK "October '06", so I'm pretty sure it's available over here now. In traditional GAK style, they're charging

Yeah, you're right, but I always find it weird how there are one or two shops who are shipping stuff like that for cheap, when all the "big names" crank up their prices, knowing full well that it's hard to get hold of guitars from America over here, and most people will be willing to go into their local guitar shop and pay whatever the asking price is.

That site does seem pretty good, I saw one of those Squier Vintage Jazz Basses on there for

the guitar is okay. begginers mostly but it sound fine. the main thing that sucks is that the neck isnt glued and theres not so much sustain from it.

it is a set neck. the other epiphone junior with a humbucker is the one that's a bolt on. i'd challenge anyone to take the pepsi challenge with the sustain difference between set and bolt on
