hurbet ok so iam gonna need a trem for a jazzmaster build iam doing soon. now i know the jap ones suck so forget them. i bought a vintage one for my fake jazzmaster and its great . how do the new american trems compare to the vintage ones ?
Rick they are more or less exactly the same. the new US reissue ones have a little lip, so the trem arm clicks in, then swings freely like a strat trem. the vintage ones just wedge in. it's kind of complicated to explain
hurbet but as far as usage goes? , same movement and spring stiffness?if so iam a very happy hurbet 😎
