What happened?
We've migrated to a new forum software. This only impacts users registered before 12/21/2021.
Why?
Licensing fees for the previous forum software could no longer be justified for continued use.
What changed?
Lots of things have changed - read on for the important points.
- User Account - your user accounts have been migrated. (read on)
- User Account [Email Address] - migrated to new system. This is your key to resetting your password after migration.
- User Account [Passwords] - your password has been RESET during the migration and you will need to use the 'Forgot password?' option to set a new one when logging in for first time.
- User Account [Usernames] - your username MIGHT have been modified to work on the new system. You can set a 'nickname' which will be displayed with your content on new system.
- User Account [Avatar] - any avatar or profile images were NOT migrated. Set a new avatar image after logging in.
- Posts - have been migrated.
- Forums - Forums are now TAGS.
- PMs - private messages were NOT migrated. There is no support for PMs in the current forum.
