I have a newer American Mustang with Yosemite single coils and I’m really trying hard to get some chime/jangle sounds ala “September Gurls” by Big Star.
I have the following at my disposal:
- ‘74 Princeton Reverb
- newer Vox AC15 clone (EL84s, etc.)
- JHS Pulp n’ Peel V4
- JHS Colour Box
I’ll take any help I can get:
- bridge or neck pick up?
- amp settings?
- recommendations of any kind
