Hello All, has anyone modded their JS to a single pickup? If so could you tell me where you went for the aftermarket pick guard, ie: Warmouth, Pickguardian. Also did anyone reposition the pickups when they did mod or did just use the original neck pickup or bridge pickup position? I ask because I have looked on past posts but unfortunately they were posts that were sent in 2012. I was thinking that they could be a little out of date and nobody went into detail about their JS mod or honestly I'm just a forum Noob and I didn't look in the right place.🤦
Now, I have upgraded it a little in the past but I am not using it as much so I am trying to get a different tone (maybe) but a more streamed line look. I have saved all my original parts as well; the pots, caps, the single coil, and Santa Ana. I am just trying out something new. Thanks for any insight. Much appreciated. 😎
