Hello, I'm currently building a jagstang and I will be winding both pickups. does anyone actually have any jaguar winding specs? I'm starting with some jaguar flatwork from mojotone. Was planning on using Alnico 2 .688 magnets and a poly nylon. Now with the taller magnets I'm hoping for around 8000 winds and somewhere around 6.5-7k ohms. I will counterwind and reverse the poles. How does the claw actually attach? Is it just clamped on after potting? Is it actually soldered on? Do I wind with the claw already on?
