Hey I'm keen to hear if you got this to work? I'm wondering if I can do a coil-split while still maintaining the option to have the pickups out of phase with each other for that thin trebly clank once in awhile. Not sure if this is the same thing you were trying to accomplish or if you were just going for the humbucker coil split but not fussed about keeping the out-of-phase (i.e., pickups out of phase with each other) capability. I don't even know if it's possible as I'm not the best at wiring, but it seems a shame that the stock Jagstang right now really only has 4 options (neck, bridge, both in-phase, both out-phase), despite having 9 possible "position combinations". I also read someone saying that the earlier versions actually had a distinct difference between say the front and back switch position of a single pickup (i.e., in/out of phase with itself), which would be another thing I'd be interested in. I have this on one of my Ibanez', and the difference is noticeable when a pickup is in/out of phase with itself, whereas the current run of Jagstangs don't seem to be wired that way - there is no discernable difference between the front/back switch position for a single pickup (while of course there is obviously a discernable difference when the pickups are out of phase with each other, but that's a different thing).
Anyway, keen to know if you make any headway on increasing the versatility of the JS switch system. Thanks!
