  1. don't know where the mesa comes from either..the story above is true...I think a little more about is as follows Randall Smith used to modify the Fender Princeton. That is the amp to which Carlos made the famous statement. "Man that little thing really Boogies". Worried that Fender would catch on to so many transformers being sold to one location he started is own company.

  3. I put these hand wound non reverse middle set of '54 by manilus that are AMAZING sounds more like a strat than any strat you've ever heard and it has all of the old fashioned quack in the 2 and 4 spots

  5. I use a lighter gauge but yes....blue steels are the best strings out there
  6. tube screamer on one side...more on the other and combos I've had like every distortion/overdrive pedal known to man kind. now I pretty much just use this.

  9. the 2 x has greater attack.....1 x is mellower.......in mho here is the "actual" drum set Fran alluded to, that he in fact overpowered.
