  1. if you have a cab already get the TT, if not see if u can find the TT Combo! the tiny terror is only around 500usd in the US, It must be cheaper in the UK i dont know where your located but if its any where it europe i think it would be cheaper. AC30 is nice but no where near an orange tone

i live in Australia and i found one for 960$ http://www.allansmusic.com.au/Product.aspx?p=133121 its cheaper than i thought they would be. i will have to have one big day of going out and testing amps ;) its going to be on the top of my list to play.

  2. the reason i did not want to buy a TT is because i would feel a little robed paying 1000$ buck for a 15 watt amp with about 3 knobs on it, and know that 200 bucks more i could get an ac30.

but lets just say that i did plan to buy one- is it better to get the combo or by like a 2x12 cab or some thing like that?

  3. are you looking for a head or a combo?

hmmm i dont know a combo is more practical, but when thinking about orange halfstacks :0

combo i think then get the orange halfstack in a few years. i was thinking about 30 watts but 15 would be ok if i have to get an orange sound, no i don't want a tiny terror. so any ideas?

  4. Foxy, we're in the same state... where did you end up getting the Mustang?

bad luck for you i got it in a private sale :( sorry- but i tell you what if your ever in castlemaine drop in and take a look.

i had a jam today hoping to get some audio but the other band member forgot the XLR's so we had about 4 SM58's, 4 SM57's but could not use them GRRRR.

  5. always liked the corny mustang logo. just seems so wonderful.

one of my favorite of the mustang charms

ahahah yea that dodgy font with like ....speed lines? it just looks cool, the case is a TKL and yes it did come with the case + strap came with it. if any one is looking for a case for a mustang i would HIGHLY recommend it, fits like a glove.

  6. Saweeet. That's good stuff. So I take it you're quite into your bass as well as guitar? Or do you plan on using your guitar through the bass amp?

well to be honest its not for me, i just thought it would be easier to say that it was mine.

i am not good enough at guitar to think about playing bass ;) can you even use a guitar through a bass amp and get a good tone?

  7. got my new guitar today, it was an ebay guitar that did not sell so i e-mailed them and asked if they still had it. they got it in 2004 CIJ competition mustang i think its a 65' reissue but i am not sure can any one help me with the serial number to work out the date P 091785. i will put some pics up soon, oh and its a deep red with a white pick plate (i wanted white but its better than not having one) one of the best parts about it is that it only cost 750 $ and its in PRRrrrfect condition.

if its got the comp stripes its not a 65 probably a 69

the serial says it was made between 95-96

WOW!!! that's a surprise because it has no scratches or marks at all not one. so if its that old thats sweet as.
