  1. Thanks for that. I had a feeling that would be the case, but wanted to check with some people like yourself who'd know!
  2. Hi there, I have a question. My youngest cousin recently bought a Squier Vintage Modified Jag in seafoam green, and loves the look of it. However, he did feel the 9.25 fretboard was a little big, and prefered the feel of my 7.5 fretboard on one of my jags. Someone suggested to him swapping the neck, for a fender thinline Jaguar neck which are kicking around on Ebay. Would this be a straight swap out job, or would the neck not fit? I know it would require the bridge saddles matching the fretboard radius, but having never swapped a neck, would this be something that could be done, or would are the neck joints be incompatible? Would something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Special-Edition-Jaguar-Thinline-NECK-White-Bound-Rosewood-Pearl-/200888025938?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2ec5dc0352#ht_792wt_959 literally bolt on instead of the squier neck? Thanks, and sorry for potentially another silly/simple question!
  3. Hi all, I've recently got a hold of a Mexican Classic player guitar that has been modded to change the pickups to single coil, and sounds great. However, having a Johnny Marr signature Jag, I'm really wanting to swap out the bridge for a mustang one as I much prefer the feel of it! I but wondered if this is a simple process on the classic player series, as I'm aware the bridge differs somewhat on the Adjustomatic compared to the standard Jaguar bridge. Would it be hard work to do this and not just a "swap out?" Or is there a way to do it "simply", if it requires any serious modifications? Sorry to ask such a silly question, I don't generally take my guitars apart or anything or upgrade usually, I just wanted to get some thoughts from some experts on here!
  4. I've just asked this question in another thread, you may be able to clear it up here actually as I'm trying to do the same thing! Would the holes around the bridge still fit, even though the bridges differ on a standard single coil Jag and a humbucking model?
  5. Hi, I noticed this thread. I have a classic player Jaguar with the humbucking pickups, and have recently got a hold of some single coil, vintage p/ups to replace them. If I get a scratchplate that fits a single coil Fender Jaguar, would this fit around the bridge area? I know the bridges differ, and I could alter this, but does anyone know whether the bridge would mount? I know the scratchplates on the classic players circle the entire bridge, while the standard Jag goes around the three prongs in the bridge, would it still fit? Sorry to ask such a silly question, I'm relatively new to customising guitars etc, just hoped one of you guys could help!
