  4. I've read that this model of guitar is still being produced, but not in OTM (Matching Headstock) colour. Is that right? I would of thought it was the best selling colour in this model. I've made a few guitar purchases in the last 2 years, so I am going to save up some cash with the intent to buy this guitar. Do you think this guitar in OTM will be hard to find in a couple of years time? I live in the UK so I imagine I would have to import... or book a flight to Japan. HNB - I have heard only positive things about Ishibashi's. When I inquired to them about this guitar, they said they only sell Fender's thought their online store, not ebay.
  5. WOW! Now that's what I call a music store.
  6. I am looking to buy this guitar, but it looks like I can only buy the guitar from Japan. Does anyone have any advice or had any experience buying direct from Japan? There is one for sale on ebay, but i've seen cheaper ones for sale on various Japanise sites eg Rakuten http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Japan-73-Reissue-Mustang-guitar-MG73-CO-/251286074492?pt=Guitar&hash=item3a81d1347c#ht_2540wt_821 http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/badge/item/10002252/ Japan site Any help is much appreciated.
  7. Maybe the '73 reissue is a newer model from Fender Japan? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Japan-73-Reissue-Mustang-guitar-MG73-CO-/251286074492?pt=Guitar&hash=item3a81d1347c Anyway, thanks for uploading a demo.
  8. Sorry, just read your '69 Comp Blue Mustang post - it's a Hotrail pickup. HNB - Do you know much about the Fender Japan Mustang '73 reissue Competition in Ocean Turquoise Metallic?
  9. A fine trio on Mustangs. Have you changed the bridge pickup in the vintage blue? I have been eyeing up a new Fender Japan Mustang '73 reissue Competition in Ocean Turquoise Metallic. The guitar in this colour is not listed on the Fender Japan site. The Fender Japan Mustang '73 reissue Competition and your '69 reissue look identical. Did you by the '69 reissue direct from Japan?
  10. I have a Polychorus too. It produces nice organic chorus, flange, and like you said, metallic/tinny sounds. If you turn up the feedback on the chorus or flange setting, you get the crazy sounds from the intro to Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.
  11. This looks kind of cool. It's got an SG meets Hagstrom II vibe to it. Nice subtle touch adding the blue Germs O. http://www.hagstromguitars.eu/index.php?option=com_zoo&view=category&Itemid=47
  12. Looks like a keyboard amp is the way forward. The Peavey KB1 amp in the link below should be perfect. http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Peavey_KB1_Keyboard_Amplifier/PV-KB1
  13. Active speakers. Could I get an active speaker, plug it into mains power and plug a mic into the speaker? Or do i need amp and mixer also?
  14. Can I plug a Mic into a small guitar amp for bedroom use only? I dont really want to pay for a full PA System that is only going to be used at home.

  17. Do you play in a band Longywales? Send me a PM if you want to get in touch.
  18. Good to see a strong Welsh contingent on the Jagstang Forum.
  19. Nice looking guitars. Someday I am going to get a Jagstang and mod with JB in the bridge and a Fender Texas special in the neck. Are you from Wales Longywales? I live in Cardiff.
  20. Thanks man. I'm really happy with it. Hope you get your hands on one someday.
