Hey guys! Obligatory new to the forum post, here. I just picked up my 2002 Fiesta Red Jag-Stang on Friday of last week, and I'm head over heels in love with this instrument. Distortion doesn't really offer the crunch that I really want through this guitar like it does wit
Apologies in advance if this is a well-worn or newbie topic to bring up. This post reflects on the reach advantage on a short scale neck, and offers the hypothesis that this is not a true advantage and is actually largely psychosomatic/subconscious bias, but the tone advantage of heavier guage strings is real. I'm going to replace my volume and tone knobs for my fender jazzmaster classic player special(made in mexico). I want them to be black instead of offwhite because im also getting black pickup guards, gold pickguard, and a gold hardware. What kind of knobs do I need? I can only find US Split shaft knobs on all parts, but would those not work?
