You can get the nirvana sounds out of the new polychorus it wont be exact but still you get them plus you'll have to try find the settings on your own they arnt the same with the reissue but it beats paying 400 dollars for the vintage one ill post a video of the settings soon for you guys

You guys... It's ironic that we're perhaps one of the most unfriendly (if not THE most unfriendly) forums for Nirvana fans on the internet.

Some people might be interested in the video, you never know...

I'd be friendlier if any of them had some original input or insight.

or u can try kurdts equipment which has the hand drawn settings by CuHRDt but if that isn't clear you can make a video, not that many people will watch it

he said the settings on the reissue weren't the same as the vintage one which kurt used, so the hand drawn settings wont mean anything if the circuitry is a bit different.

well if you're playin covers then you'd prolly want it right. Maybe he just likes how it sounds. It's no different then people wanting a fuzz sound similar to megadeth or whoever. Honestly I don't think it should matter since every sounds is really now just regurgitated and blended even more. Some might be interested in that sound to mix it into theirs so why judge what other people should do.
