slumber 0
Jo's Music Shop. Google it. He has an ebay store as well, but the actual store is a little cheaper (minus the ebay fees of course)

This is a good place to find folks who really know their axes and often have some for sale. You'll find a decent Mustang at a fair price.

plaidbeer 0
If you want to buy new, try Sweetwater. They often will match prices, you get free shipping, an inspection before shipping, and a free 2-year warranty regardless of what the manufacturer warranty is. It's where I buy new gear and they've always taken care of me. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/search.php?s=mustang&sb=popular¶ms=eyJkaW1lbnNpb24iOnsiQ2F0ZWdvcnkiOiIxMTkxIn19
Robbmonster 10
Is $1,200 REALLY expensive for a vintage Stang? You folks in the States are spoiled. Here in Oz, we pay that much for a beat up MIJ reissue

brandonwinmill 15
Craigslist.org or gbase.com I saw a mustang exactly like your avatar yesterday on ebay and fell in love with it. http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-Vintage-Competition-Orange-Fender-Mustang-Guitar_W0QQitemZ230557154354QQcategoryZ33034QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp5197.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D1%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5319137734721070311 The 65 in that link is 2500. Is 900 really bad for that 78? I thought it wasn't bad but i am no expert. You can try Chris guitars in new york. He never has many mustangs or jags but he has everything else. http://www.chrisguitars.com/ I like guitar center only because you can really play the guitar for a good while before you buy it and they don't usually say anything. I hate buying sight unseen and pictures are deceiving.
Doug 8
Hi, Guys. If that 1970s sunburst Mustang plays as good as it looks, then $900 USD is a very, very good price. Vintage Guitar Magazine is now listing '60s & '70s Mustangs in the $1300 to $2300 range. Doug
