Well everyone in my house (apart from me) went out on saturday, so it was a full day riffing session for me, and I tested them with the pedals I use and various settings. It has to be said, I don't mind them, but I'm after something a bit thicker (the Lace Sensor) and I really liked the sound of the Neck Duncan Vintage pickup (clean from their site). I'm not completely positive about changing the pickups, but I think I will eventually. That said it's a fantastic guitar, the neck on it is great, initially it didn't buzz, but it does now. I've set it up and I'm going to get mustang saddles and some 11-52 strings (the shop set up was absolute garbage, there aren't any winds on the strings.) Then I'll be set. I've heard bad things said about the tremolo system too, I personally love it, its quite subtle, and you can get some Kevin Shields style strum with the bar in your hand action. The only thing about the pickups is, I don't want to change it into something its not, I hope the Lace Sensor will do what it does, but keep the characteristics of the Jag, which I think it will. After all I got it for what it is, not to turn it into a Strat or a HH Jaguar.
