Well, for now i decided to put the old tail piece back on. I lowered it from underneath, and since the strings wouldnt be able to fit underneath the tailpiece like normal, I reversed it (so that where the whammy bar should go is opposite of the volume/tone knobs rather than next to), and I strung it up. The actual Bridge piece that I did drill in the beginning is still there, so basically I got half of it right and am making do with what i have for the other half. It seems to be staying in tune... im gonna work on setting up and intonating it tomorrow (that should be a joy 😁 )
