it says on the owner's manual that it's possible to break it even in the case and so you should try and lie the case flat on it's back whenever you can.
no bother, you'll get it fixed up. jimmy page's real LP that it's based on has had the headstock broken more than once.
i'm afraid you've drastically reduced the resale price of that mega-expensive guitar though ☹
