BanditGuitarist1 it jsut fell on the floor of my apartment which is just wood, Paul Im not really concerned with the price because I dont think I will ever be selling it, as for my kids well they can deal with it cause I'll be long gone befor its sold 😆
guitardude3000gt That sucks dude! sorry to hear about it! I can't believe it broke while it was in the case, that's just ridiculous. How old is it? Is it still under warranty, maybe you could get the folks at Gibson to fix it.

BanditGuitarist1 and the repair guy says he cannot repair and if he does it will be expensive and take a few months...his reccomendation call Gibson and get them to put a new neck on....that will definatly be cheap and fast 😆
Bob_the_godly_dude That bites, surely if his recomendation is to get a new neck then maybe you may as well grab a bottle of wood glue and a g-clamp and try fixing it yourself? If it messes up then you can just do what he says. 😕

BanditGuitarist1 Well my whole family has come together and graciously helped me pay to get a new neck at 1200 from Gibsons repair shop 😁 thanks for all the responses.

Nimbus Wow.. 😲 If the new neck is that expensive, I wouldn't throw the broken one in to garbage even if got a new one. Maybe it should be repaired, so you'd have a spare neck if something ever happens to the new neck? Or sell it on eBay with few bucks for someone who wants to try and fix it?
Bob_the_godly_dude I don't think it's the neck which is expensive but the work required to replace it, it's a glued in neck isn't it? So the finish would have to be toched up and everything. It's a lot of work!
