I just had a look at my Jazzy (fitted with Mustang bridge and Buzzstop) and, yup, the strings touch the rear of the bridge before they pass over the saddle. BUT it doesn't matter, unless you actually WANT more of that "piiiiiiing" ringing sound you get when playing choppy chords. The last point where the string leaves the bridge is the important bit.
Like I said, I've got a 'Stang bridge and Buzzstop with no tuning or tremolo issues whatsoever.
Now get some 11s+ on there and stop whining 😈
