The amp in the background is an early '70s Ampeg VT22.
About the black abalone pickguard - the guy at Jeannie pickguards cut the humbucker screw holes just a tiny bit too big (still an awesome guard, though!), the screws kept falling out thus the humbuckers kept falling out and getting stuck to the strings, so I'm using duct-tape to keep them in for the time being.
Also, the tone pot shaft is a bit too small for all the knobs I've tried, they kept falling off. I'm gonna replace the volume pot with a push/pull pot to enable coil tapping eventually, and use the left-over volume pot as the tone pot so I can have two knobs again. Despite all these downfalls, this guitar plays and sounds better than anything else I've laid my hands on.
