I wound up going with shell pink because he already had it. I almost finished sanding it. I am pretty excited, we spray it at noon. I will be taking pictures of the event. Can't belive I never thought of using my friend's body shop before this.
He said should only take a couple of hours to prime and paint. It will also take a day to dry. He said after that, he might have to apply additional coats and that would add another day of drying.
I think the stock pickguard should look fine but, might have to go pickguard shopping for a red tortishell.
I also going to have to look for a white pickup to replace the Dimarzio Dual Sonic. Which is a shame because it sounded pretty damn cool with the coil tap.
Oh, thanks for the idea of the white compettion stripes. I will have to think about that. My friend said that should be easy. No different that automotive pin stripes. I would just have to purchase them off ebay.
I might have him order the Lake Placid Blue in case I find another beat up Jag-Stang on ebay.
Strange that he already had Shell Pink in stock. Guess it was just destiny.
