okay, i'm going to order a new allparts trem, we have them here and its 39 euros, but it doesnt have the trem lock, so im gonna put the lever in there and im gonna take the new spring from it.

do you think it might be worse (tuning-playability) since its cheaper?

that's a pretty good idea. and i think they are virtually identical to japanese trems (aside from the logo and slide switch, obviously). i've got one here i was just playing about with. i can see that if i tightened it up too much, the thread would strip. just nip it up

okay, emailed the guys asking questions if it will fit and if i'll get a refund.

i just need to cough up the shipping money ( which is suprising, the site is in holland, where im at, and i still have to pay for the shipping. dutch people ae thieves!

Okay, i didnt do anything, i took out the washer and put nail polish on the thing.

whatever.

so im going to order a USA trem next month, but they stupid guitar parts resource doesnt have them in stock.

i found out, if i use the trem when sitting down its normal, it went through a whole month without falling out.

But when i stand up and do kevin shields-ish type of tremolo-ing that always happpens...

my question is, is there a possibility that this might happen with the USA version as well?

i missed alot of this thread but i remember your original problem.

i do not endorse the allparts trem at all.

you should try a u.s. one first.

you should be able to "ppush" down a bit and it will pop in.

and if that does work, do what i did to tele and bend the stem of the trem arm.

it'll fit in there nice n snug.

^ Its about the thingy that the trem arm goes in, it keeps falling out not the trem arm but the thing holding it....
