no it's not a medical fact. the fact is that some people see colours differently. that doesn't really explain any of this cos on the pictures shown we agree on their colour.

I have a shot of my sonic blue JS next to my freshly painted surf green bass in the Other Guitars forum...but, I suppose I could post it here, since it seems relevant.

I hate to say this, but in person, they look like the same color. Also, my js has always looked green to me....till that pic. But, I think it's fair to say that sonic blue is indeed BLUE and surf green is indeed GREEN

I kinda figured you were driving at that...but, yes...unproven. Also, as a footnote, I don't have a case for it, so, the JS is exposed to light everyday...

poly is definitely more UV resistant than nitro so i don't know how much the light matters.
