the teddy bears were on the table when i decided to take the pic. i thought they would add to the photo so i left them.

i got the venus last year. when i got it it was just the body and neck. only

Oh I didn't even notice that when I looked at the picture the first time.

It's an ongoing idea of mine to put a red tort pickguard (or just a red one) on my sonic blue jagstang and some black pickup covers on it. I wouldn't go with the maple fretboard though, it has to be certain guitars with certain colors to pull that off. But I'm glad I relooked at that , I don't think I'm going to put black put black pickups in it, the color scheme just doesn't work for me.

Sorry am I mixing the two up - I assumed the JS is Kurt? However to answer your question, no I prefer pearloid with SB.

neither of them have real names. i think the venus is ok, but it's certainly not the best looking guitar there is.
