it was on a 65 duo body, but it's a 78 stang neck.

agreed. It looks fantastic. The Venus is a much better guitar than the Jag-Stang.

actually i d go for the JS. Venus doesnt look like a solid guitar. Looks like it was made crappy. I ve never played one so how would i know. Judging by the looks.

i really quite like your jag-stang.

i wish i had a maple neck for my mustang.

i don't mind rosewood but still.

i've played a venus before and they're pretty nice guitars. balanced well and look diffrent but still kinda sexy in that knocked up whore type of way.

i know you guys see it.

the venus is a knocked up trashy whore trying to be beautiful with cheap mascare, highlights , and the "shoes" (headstock) to match

edit: aww you'res doesn't have a matching headstock.

i think only the sea foam green ones did

I think his looks better without the matching headstock... Every sunburst guitar with a matching headstock looks like crap IMO.

what makes you think it was made crappy? i really don't see how you can think that from a photo. anyway. it's very solid, infact i'd say it's one of the most solid feeling guitars i've played. it was obviously bashed about a lot before i got it (i can tell by the bent tuner and the damage to the finish - although the finish appears to be very thick so the wood underneath is intact.)
