If thats what you want to do, go for it. I'm sure you can even customize to your needs, ask Robert if you do this. If I built a Jag-Stang, I would add a TOM and a stop tail piece. Everything else would look like it was Fender made, except for the pickups.
I cant bash the Jag-Stang's neck pickup though, I found it perfect to play Hendrix songs. Anyway, have fun with, paint it some cool color! And since you have other guitars don't rush it. 😈
